Fully Automated Solar Production Facility
The Martifer Solar photovoltaic modules factory contains the world’s leading automization and robotic technology. The production line, manufactured by Spire, and the robotics, manufactured by KUKA, ensures that the manufacturing process is highly efficient, which directly impacts the quality of the final product.
The factory occupies over 10.000 sqm of the Martifer Group facilities in Oliveira de Frades, North Portugal and boasts a production capacity of 50 MW per year with the capability to expand to 100 MW.

Trackers
Martifer Energy Systems has its own solar tracker model, using dual-axis and single-post technology. The solar tracker works like a sunflower, following the sun in its two movements to guarantee that the module is always perfectly oriented. The use of solar trackers in the installation guarantees 30% more energy use than when fixed structures are employed.
