Net Meter allows you to benefit from any excess electricity your system generates. The excess is fed back into the utility grid for others to use. Your electric meter spins backwards to credit you for the energy sent into the electric grid.  You are billed for the difference between the electricity you generate and the energy you use.  To find out more about solar energy incentives, go to the the Solar Energy Industries Association website, The SEIA is the is nation’s most prominent solar trade group.
